MICROGRÁFICO BARCELONA
Micrográfico Barcelona is an exploration of Barcelona, Spain through its smallest public artwork; it began as a simple documentation of the stickers that decorate the utility infrastructure along Barcelona’s sidewalks. Overarching themes were detected and labeled - outliers and exceptions were integrated - and slowly, the idea of the city as a public message board, grassroots art gallery, open forum, etc, came to the forefront.
